In this section of the website, you can find information on where to go for buying puzzles and information on them.
This is not a buying or information site. This website is probably the most important on here for several reasons. This website and their creators control when and where cube competitions are held. This website is mainly run by legend Ron Van Bruchem. This website is the main place to check if a competition is being held in your area. The great thing about this organization is that you can personally organize a competition and run it your way as agreement with the WCA regulations.
This is the website of hknow. This store is located in Hong Kong and is run by Calvin Fan. He is the represenative for Meffert's and SpeedStacks in that area. He sells many products that range from cubes to special puzzles such as the Golden Egg and Cube. As this is a branch of Meffert's anything that they sell, Calvin sells too.
This first website is a famous one known as Mefferts.com You can be taken to the site by clicking on the banner provided by Uwe himself. On the site, you can find an extreme amount of unknown puzzles such as the platypus and many old puzzles like the Pyraminx. This is the definate place to go for strange 3D puzzles.
When thinking of the best speed cubes in the world, you have to think of the V-Cubes. Every puzzle that this company has produced completely outshines every other cube of the competitor. Currently the 5x5x5 is the only cube that all four major companies produce. Rubik, Eastsheen, Meffert's, and V-Cubes. It has been proven time after time that out of those four, the V-Cube is the way to go. If you want the best cubes for a decent price, check this place out.
The next website that i reccomend going to is Tribox. Tribox hasen't been around as long has Meffert's but has me going back their everytime for more puzzles. This website and store is run by Takafumi Haseda. He provides excellent costomer service. He mainly has puzzle variations such as the Joy and Edison brands that are largely avaible in Japan and China. Thanks to his store, many Western cubers in Europe and the Americas have those puzzles. Mr. Haseda has also been kind enough to let me use the pictures from his store in my website.
This business began as a small shop on ebay. To keep up with demand, they intrduced their website in January of 2007. They are now known as Cube4you.com. Most people go to Cube4you for 3x3x3 DIY Kits. They also carry many standard puzzles such as the 2x2x2, 4x4x4 and 5x5x5. As well as the popular megaminx, pyraminx, and square-1. For beginners looking for new puzzles and to expand from their store-bought 3x3x3, Cube4you.com is the perfect place to go.
Cubesmith.com is the place you should go for stickers. This site has all the standard sticker sets you'll need. I has 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, skewb, square-1, megaminx, and many more sticker sets for your puzzles. They also carry tiles and vinyl sheets. Tiles are the same as stickers except they don't peel over time. Vinyl sheets are basically uncut stickers. They come in all the colors cubesmith offers. With all the basic sticker sets and more, Cubesmith.com is the place to go for stickers.
Releasing their store in feburary of 2009, Dr. Sticker has already made a big impact on the puzzle community. Unlike CubeSmith, Dr. Sticker specializes in custom sticker sets for puzzle modds. This business also carries sets of stickers for the Golden Cube, MasterMorphix, and Ong's Face Turning Octohedron. They have had several good reviews by costomers on their site and I will certainly be useing their services in the not too distant future.
